List of non-national representative teams in men's football

This is a list of the men's national, regional, islanders and people association football teams in the world not registered with FIFA or any of their Confederations. All teams listed have played at least once against a non-club team from another sovereign nation.

Criteria for inclusion

This is a summary of the criteria for inclusion in the article.

1. Club teams, even if they bear the name of a region, island or ethnic group, and even if they have a policy of only employing players from such a group, are not suitable for inclusion in this list. Club sides are those between which players can move at will (subject to contract).
2. Teams listed here should not ordinarily be the holders of registration for their players, and players should usually (unless out of contract or semi-retired) play for such teams in addition to their club commitments.
3. Team must be member of a non-representative football organization or there must be verifiable evidence of fixtures against teams of a similar level beyond the boundaries of their own sovereign nation.

Organizations

There are some organizations with the objective of organize football among these teams. Some of them are listed below.

• NF-Board New Federations Board: a football association established in 2003. It is made up of teams that represent nations that are not recognized as sovereign states and which are therefore not eligible to become members of FIFA, football's world governing body. The NF-Board organises the VIVA World Cup and the UNPO Cup. CSANF is its first continental confederation, for South America.
• IGA Island Games Association: formed in 1985, this is an organization with the sole purpose to organise the Island Games, a friendly biennial athletic competition (including football) between teams from several islands and other small territories.
